​Betrayal - this is one of the greatest Cords of Pain resonating in Humankind.  When we hold this pain in our Being we struggle to feel safe and trust others; and even our self.  

The pain of this choking, strangulating cord is even more evident in women and it is time we shifted out of this Energy pattern into healthier and more fulfilling ways of experiencing our Life Journey.

As we walk through this Life Journey we are often amazed at how quickly a sense of sadness, disillusionment, mistrust or suspicion is awakened in a seemingly ordinary situation.  

We all carry cords and memories of pain.  Some of them we have encountered in our own life while some memories just seem to hurt us beyond what we can fathom.  

The sense that makes no sense

It is the sense that makes no sense that really tells us that we are carrying a cord of pain that belongs in the past.  Like our genetic imprint, we also hold an energetic imprint.

One of the most painful cords, for women in particular, is that of betrayal. 

We could just say - "so what" - but it is this cord that once cleared, will give women the power to stand side by side and bring in the peace and compassion that we need in order to move back into the sacred balance of life-nature.

How do we recognize this cord? 

Have you noticed how women look at one another when there is a gathering?

Next time you join a group pay attention to the way the men look at the women and how women look at one another. 

If you watch carefully you will see a thinly disguised expression of mistrust.  

Women hold ancient cords of pain that awaken whenever we gather. These ancient wounds appear as strangulating cords which beg us to resolve, release and let go.

The Cord of Betrayal 

The cord of betrayal is, I believe, the most tangled and painful of them all as it undermines our ability to trust one another.  

Where did it come from?

It began way back in our history when the division was created between women.  It played out when women betrayed one another in ancient history so that they could survive or save their families from persecution.  For example in the history of the witch hunts, many families and friendships were split as women's power was manipulated and undermined.  Some were pushed to betray their friend, their family member, their loved ones.  

This painful cord has been lingering ever since as an Energy Imprint. Trust has been broken and this sense of separation results in a lack of authenticity.

If we can release this cord, we can once again hold each other and the consciousness of our planet as the mother- goddess-nurturer-of-nature-and-Life.
